A Week with Auntie Allie

Zak had a great time with Auntie Allie while she was here
Cheese!

When Adam picked up Zak from Teri's on Monday he was playing a Dora game with her, so of course we had to try the game at home. Allyson said he was actually pretty good at it. He LOVES the computer (which we usually don't let him touch), so this could be dangerous.

Friday we went down to meet Cyndi, Jeff, Randi and Helen Holt and Ann Marie, Michael and Christopher Hines at the Manhattan Beach Pier. The plan was to go to the little aquarium at the end of the pier, but since it was a weekday, it didn't open until 3 pm. Needless to say, all the kids were disappointed, so we spent a little time visiting and running around on the pier (and chasing birds). Unfortunately I didn't get many good pictures, but Cyndi took many more than me, so I'll post those when she sends them to me.

It was pretty windy, and as we were walking down the pier, Zak said "I'm cold, hood up", which is why he's all bundled up.

As usual with something new, Zak was in his serious mode for the beginning of the morning
Petting the shark with Randi and Allyson. From this point on he really liked Randi and Helen (especially Randi). He kept saying "see girls", then kept saying to Randi "hi girl" - he learned their names though soon enough.
