The long-awaited wedding was finally here! Matt and Brenda got married on Friday, August 29.

Now that's a plate of spaghetti!

The last photo of Matt as a single man. This was just before he and Gary left the house for the temple.
While we were at the temple waiting to congratulate Matt and Brenda after their ceremony, Zak was home with Grandma Barbara and Grandpa Bob.
Emerging just after the ceremony

Some photo ops before leaving for the ring ceremony and reception

Cindy and JoAnn
Gina, Linda and Cindy (although many photos were taken, we didn't get a good one with all of them looking at the same camera at the same time)
At Aldea
This was the best family shot we got - there was too much for Zak to look at to actually look at the camera

The guys
Gina and Zak - Zak really liked her on Friday (maybe he was sucking up because he knew that she is Pheobe's mom - more on this later...)
The candy station
The cake

The girls

Brenda's family
Zak enjoying a game of fooseball in the groom's room
During the ring ceremony
Just as we expected, when Zak saw Adam standing up front he kept saying "Da Da" - we finally let him go and he ran right up into the action
The kiss
Zak wanted to kiss all of the babies that were there

This was the "dance with your Mom" Dance
Linda and Alex
More dancing with mom
Pheobe and Gina
Just like Daddy, Zak likes the older girls (Phoebe is 5). But don't worry, even though she's in the family pictures above, she's not really related, so this could work out...

The opening of the gifts on Saturday - they were esctatic to receive the Del Vecchio family vase (we received it as a gift for our wedding, then a year ago Christmas we decided that it would become a family vase and everyone in the extended family would get a chance to enjoy it). My Dad sent it to them, since he had received it for Father's Day.
Zak getting a ride.
Helping Grandpa water on Monday morning before the drive home.

The wedding was a great success - Zak was really a good boy. There were a few classic moments though, like when Brenda's grandfather was doing a prayer and Zak started clapping and saying "Yay!" He didn't even start to melt down until the very end (but in his defense, it was 10:00, which is WAY past his bed time...).

You couldn't get him off the dance floor if you tried. At first, you also couldn't get him away from Phoebe - he just kept wanting to hold her hands and dance with her, and she was really good with him. Later in the night, he didn't want to hold anyone's hands and was dancing like a crazy man.
