A Visit to the Aquarium

Zak really likes his new chair - he's definitely a guy with his leg up and remote in hand
Grandpa Gary

Grandma Cindy and Grandpa Gary came to town for cousin Charles' retirement from the Navy, so we got a bonus visit. We went to the Long Beach Aquarium and Zak really seemed to like it - they have lots of displays that go all the way to the floor, so Zak can get up close and personal with the fish. He also really liked to play in the fountains outside and try to touch everything.

Zak found his nose at dinner and was cracking us up - he kept digging.

It's amazing how fast he continues to change. He used to have to crawl over to stuff to stand up and walk - now he can just pop up. He likes to talk on the "phone", whether it be a real phone that he pushes the buttons on, or his phone or a remote or his hand that he holds up to his ear and says "hello". He loves to dance and push any buttons he can. Whenever he is in our bedroom, he runs over to my alarm clock, turns on the radio and starts dancing. He has been a little crabby - we noticed on Friday that he's cutting one of his bottom molars (his top two are already through).
