A Weekend in Surprise

We headed to Surprise for the weekend for Matt's bachelor party and Brenda's bridal shower. This was an odd weekend - not a ton of photos were taken. Cindy took some more on her camera which I forgot to download before we left, so more to come later...

We went to lunch and Zak wasn't really eating much of it - until we ordered him some salsa to dip everything it. It's amazing how fast he ate after that.

We had a great weekend in Surprise. As usual, Zak loved the pool. He gets braver and braver every time. He kept sticking his face in the water and blowing bubbles. He was fascinated by the in-wall skimmer.

He's growing up so fast! He's really starting to say more words now. Earlier in the week he said "More more please grapes", then another couple two-word combinations of more grapes and please at Teri's. You can get him to say please when he wants something and it's pretty darn cute. He will repeat (or at least try) most things you say to him if you ask him to.

The guys didn't get any pictures of the bachelor party (which was playing paintball), but a good time was had by all. Later that day they were all comparing their war wounds.
