It's been a busy week...

Last Wednesday Zak got sick for the first time and had to stay home from "school". A couple days later he also fell and got his first "smart bump" as Teri calls it. Although it wasn't really smart, since he went right back to doing what he was doing before he took the header into the table and got a little bruise on his head and a fat lip - we soon realized that these were just the first of many... This is because he likes to stand up and walks along things, and has gone from the table to the couch, etc. On Saturday he even took a few steps with his lion.

He can now sit up when he's lying down, and on Friday morning, he was kneeling on the side of the crib when I went in to get him. He's getting to be such a big boy!

The best part of the past week is that Grandpa Mike came to visit. We had a great time. Zak had his first trip to one of Grandpa's favorite spots in L.A. - Pink's! Teri says Zak won't eat hot dogs, but he ate the few pieces of the Pink's dog we gave him just fine (and no, we didn't let him have any chili). Unfortunately, I forgot the camera, so we don't have any pictures. Zak really likes the new cell phone Grandpa gave him.
